yay, i've just completed my "Man and Wife" by Tony Parsons.

it's the sequel to the "man and boy" i've mentioned in one of my previous entry.
This one's a little better because it examines more in depth about how he feels about love and other girls. Why is it that couples can stay together for long? Why isn't marriage turning out to be what he thought it would be? Very interesting insights, felt as though it spoke to me as the lead character went through all the emotions. Together with a equally interesting mother and sage druggie of a colleague, another must read book for those who struggle with issues on love, marriage and finding the 'one'.

my bf adn i were tlaking about that yesterday.. marriage, and couples who date for eons and they cheat.. basically its cuz people get bored and they're looking for that rush like when they first met.. seomthign liek taht.. his name is DeeVeuS, if u wanna check him out. :)

you're right. ultimately, we can end up with anyone, just that we often think that the grass is greener on the other side. My friend told me the other day: "Love is what happens when the romance dies". Staying together, doing the most 'mundane' things together may sound awfully boring, but strange thing is that it's probably worth so much more than all the teddy bears and flowers that people do.... that being said, im still trying to grow out of that "rush" feeling you mentioned..
