The best breakfast I had...
Tuesday. 1.1.08 7:52 am
.... occurred in the evening....

It was a night of cookout, decadence, and fellowship. Unfortunately, it may well be the last cookout, for quite a while at least!

It was the same place with almost all of the same people, and with more special guests this time with Boss, Andrew, Mia Wee, and Jerome. No holds barred alfresco dining right at the porch with the usual hot plate and large amount of food.

It all began with the magic powder...

followed by the appetizers which consists of olives, quail eggs, and raw shrooms

the special dessert treat for the night

the first dish, black chicken stuffed with liver that is served with green apple creme sauce (i made the sauce!)

followed by scrambled eggs and toast topped with lump fish caviar and moet chandon champagne

baked meat muffins

served and plated with some salsa

stirfried sukiyaki beef sushi style with peanut butter nutty sauce (i made this sauce too!haha)

searing the toufus

spicy toufu with sugary sweet sauce

cubed muttons on the pan

which kinda broke up after awhile. immensely tough to chew though... good jaw exercise

last but not least, the dessert of the day. Choice of cereal and with 3 different kinds of milk to go with. I chose the fruit loops and soya milk. I mean, how cool is that!?! Thanks barret!

Anyway, it was a real great evening catching up with old friends and people that we've lost contact for quite some years. But the way i see it, it's like we never left at all... for the risk of sounding too sentimental and emotional, i'll just end off here by saying.. cooool...

Very interesting foods you got there! I have to say I have not tasted quite a fare. Especially fruit loops with soya milk hehe. Happy new year!

barret - not true, remember the korean theme? just that forgot to take any pictures

wernie - yea haha, food actually was less compared to previously, we managed to finish it this time. As for booze, it was less, but somehow became more expensive i think haha
